Google has got to be kidding!!
Recently, google bloging went to a pastel menuing system. Can I say they've been smoking crack?!??
It was hideous and they have an equally bad system of hiding menus and links. What the hell are they thinking? CSS was to make life easier to layout, not for you to indulge your fantasy about colors.
FYI: this will be the feedback I am sending to Google.

YAF Lawsuit
So, you've likely heard of a few the lawsuit in which a claim is made that Zuckerberg stole the idea of Facebook, at least the idea on how to make money. When you read some of these documents, and are aware of Facebook's blatant disregards for rules - you got to think Zuckerberg is scum.
Given the timely, Zuckerberg was working with php 4.0. For the unknowning, php is the base software for Facebook. I describe it as "Basic for the Web, with a bit of Unix Flavor".
So it's quite easy to see how Zuckerberg could have scammed another person with an idea to do "software programming".

zuckerberg: privacy is over
A video of the infamous interview where Zuckerberg says "the age of privacy is over" - which is an implicit paraphrase, he never uses those words in this video. The interview was in January of 2010
He enters the room fairly smug. It's a joke of course, but it falls flat. NOTE: Zuckerberg says "350 million users", which gives you an idea of how long ago it was in Facebook time.
Not stating it in any direct manner they speak about privacy. And Zuckerberg says in an off handed way, "we decided this would be the social norms now - and we went for it."
http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/facebooks_zuckerberg_says_the_age_of_privacy_is_ov.php
He also states at one point they try to keep, "one engineer for every million users". Interesting.
Last question was, "Iphone or Nexus One?"
Response, "Blackberry".

Zuckerberg bites into Zynga IPO
Zynga has it's IPO on Friday. It has been called one of the most
anticipate IPO in years. So in the eleventh-hour Facebook holds up
the deal with Zynga such that the CEO personally meets till 2am with
Zuckerberg.
CEO Mark Pincus is no dummy. One can only wonder what kind of
deal he cut.... we know Facebook will get a "cut of sales"

Push their money off the page.
Yehaw!!! Third-party software which let you add frills to your facebook (or any social) page, adds even more advertising, then pushes the current ads further down the page.... AWAY from the sweet spots.

The Little Emperor is in charge
So now management is "reorganiz(ed) .. so teams report directly to (the) CEO".
So.. is it Little Hitler or Little Napolean?
For the unknowning, this means failing ideas will come directly to the teams. How long before the first defection? After the IPO? After Jan. 1, 2012?
